Can we have more than 200 guests?
Yes. The building can comfortably hold 300 guests (without a room flip,) 280 guests with full setup with room for DJ, Cake Table, and Dance Floor. However, you will need to rent additional tables and chairs, as the venue provides seating for 200 guests.
Can I choose my own vendors?
Yes! The only vendor we have to be very specific on is your bartender. Bartender must be licensed and Insured and willing to write us on as additionally Insured. We have an approved list if you need recommendations.
Can I book my own security guard?
No. We will schedule your security for you. You pay security guard the day of your event prior to bar opening.
What’s the cost of security guard for open bar?
$350 for up to 6 hours (according to contract your bar can be open for 5 hours) for up to 200 guests.
$40 for each additional hour.
2 guards required if over 200 people.
NO ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED TO GUESTS UNTIL BARTENDER ARRIVES.
Can I use candles?
No open flames. Any candles must be completely surrounded by glass. We recommend battery operated candles
Can I hang drapery and lights myself?
No. This will be added to your package and installed by a third-party vendor, Softtouch Draping. Pricing:
- Drapery: $500
- Twinkle Lights & Drapes: $750
- Café Lights: $750
Can we have alcohol in the suites?
Yes! You must purchase an event liability insurance policy and add “host liquor liability” to it. This allows self-serving until guests begin arriving. One hour before the bar opens, all alcohol must be taken to the bar or down to your cabin. No self-serving is allowed once guests arrive, and suites will be locked during the ceremony and reception.
My wedding is on Saturday. Will I be guaranteed a rehearsal on Friday?
Only if you book a two-day package. If another event is scheduled the day before, your rehearsal may be moved a day or two earlier.
Can we check into the cabins when we arrive at The Lodge at 10 AM for our rental?
Cabin check-in time is 3 PM. However, if the cabins were not rented the night before and are cleaned and ready when you take possession of The Lodge, early check-in is allowed. Check-out time is 11 AM the following day.
Can we use sparklers for our exit?
Yes! You must provide buckets with sand to extinguish the sparklers.
Can we do the catering ourselves?
Yes, but you must sign a waiver since our contract requires that your caterer be licensed and insured.
Is the outdoor chair setup/teardown fee included in the rental?
No. You can choose to do the setup and teardown yourself or pay for Bridal Creek to handle it:
- Setup: $250
- Tear Down: $250
Are there additional hotels or cabins nearby?
Yes! We are within 10 minutes of Osage Casino Tulsa and Skiatook. Check with each location regarding room block and shuttle policies.
Can we set up and decorate during our 1-hour rehearsal?
No. The Lodge may already be set up for another event, and we ask that you do not alter that setup.
Can I drop off items at the venue early?
No. Access time begins at 10 AM unless you have paid for additional time, which costs $300 per hour.
Can I hang décor on the walls?
Yes, but only with command strips. Nails, thumbtacks, or screws are not allowed.
Can I decorate the arbor with my own florals?
Yes. All décor must be removed by the end of your event. Please use zip ties.
Can I use the brown farmhouse chairs outside?
No. We have white chairs designated for outdoor use.
Can I use fake flowers outside?
No. You may use real flower petals or biodegradable flowers. All outdoor décor must be cleaned up before the end of your event.
